- Use natural materials for texture. Granite, soap stone, concrete, frosted glass. When combined with metal, these natural materials add textural depth and warmth.
- Less is more. Keep furniture to a minimum to allow for open space. Keep surfaces simple. Clean lines and strong details are the hallmark; avoid heavy ornamentation
